# Wet rubber clumps rejected before they move downstream

A camera and Nara detect potential wet spots in rubber clumps on the line and automatically reject affected product before it moves downstream.

- Customer: A rubber products manufacturer
- Sector: Manufacturing · rubber
- Deployment: On-premise, camera on the line with an automatic rejector
- Status: Completed

## Challenge

Wet spots in rubber clumps cause quality problems later in processing, and they are hard to spot consistently by eye at line speed.

## Solution

Nara processes the camera images in real time, flags clumps with wet spots, and triggers the rejection mechanism.

## How it works

- **Input:** Camera on the line
- **Process:** Wet-spot detection
- **Action:** Reject through the PLC and log

## Results

- Affected clumps rejected automatically, in real time

## Nabrio components

- Camera nodes
- Wet-spot detection model
- Modbus to PLC
- Event log
