# Glossary

The terms we use across Nabrio, Nara and Reva, in plain language.

**Physical AI**
: AI that perceives and acts on the physical world through sensors and machines.

**Flow**
: A Nara application’s logic, built visually by connecting nodes.

**Node**
: One building block of a flow: a camera input, an AI model, a rule, a Modbus write, and so on.

**Professional Node**
: An advanced node, such as industrial camera, PLC or robot connectivity, available according to your tier.

**Widget**
: A building block of a Nara dashboard: a live video view, chart, counter, button, and so on.

**Deploy**
: Starting a flow on a device so it runs.

**NAM**
: Nabrio Model, the export format from Reva that Nara loads without extra configuration.

**Slot**
: Nabrio’s unit of licensed capacity. Each running node or model uses a number of slots.

**Site**
: A group of paired Nara devices that share data, such as re-identification galleries, known faces and flow variables.

**ReID (person re-identification)**
: Recognising the same person across cameras and over time from their overall appearance, without faces.

**Offline mode**
: Running Nara and Reva without an internet connection, with licences locked to the hardware, on eligible tiers.

**Organization**
: The account unit to which subscriptions, slots, users and permissions are assigned.

**PoC**
: Proof of concept: a short project that shows a use case working on your own cameras and machines before a full deployment.

**PSI**
: Project Solution Investigation: help for Certified and Elite partners to map client requirements and assess technical feasibility before a contract.

**Edge**
: Computing on or near the device that produces the data, such as an NVIDIA Jetson next to a camera, instead of in a central cloud.
