# More adaptable than single-purpose apps. More reliable than AI agents alone.

Nabrio gives you the flexibility of building your own physical AI system with the reliability and speed of a finished product.

## Build it yourself, or buy a narrow app

- **Build it yourself**: With developers, LLMs or AI coding agents. Flexible, but a working pilot is far from a reliable system that runs every day.
- **Buy a narrow, pre-built app**: Quick to start, but each does one thing in one way, rarely fits your process, and doesn’t talk to the others.

## Nabrio sits where flexibility meets production-ready

Nabrio is the infrastructure layer for physical AI: camera and sensor input, AI models and their runtime, logic, machine control, dashboards, access control and model training, as one platform on your hardware. People and AI agents build solutions from proven, tested building blocks.

## How the three options compare

| | Build your own (developers, LLMs, AI agents) | Nabrio | Narrow pre-built apps |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Flexibility | Unlimited, but every feature is built from scratch | High: people or AI agents compose any solution from proven blocks | Low: one task, fixed behaviour |
| Time to value | Weeks to months | Days | Days |
| Reliability | Depends on the team’s experience | Engineered for production: tested nodes, guardrails, monitoring | Good, within its narrow scope |
| Skills needed | Software and ML engineering | Domain knowledge; no code required | None |
| Connects to machines | Custom work | Built in (Modbus, MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, cameras, tower lights, robots) | Usually limited |
| Your own AI models | Custom ML pipeline | Built in (Reva → Nara in one step) | Rarely |
| Data and hosting | Your choice | Your hardware, your data | Often cloud-only |
| Build your own product on it | Yes, but you own the whole stack | Yes: build on a production-ready platform | No |

## Nine reasons teams choose Nabrio

- **Physical AI, not just analytics**: Nara acts on what it detects: a reject signal to a PLC, a gate opening, a robot picking up a pallet. Sense, decide and act happen in one system.
- **Local-first and private**: Video and data are processed on your own hardware. Nothing has to leave the site, and systems keep running when the internet is down.
- **Built for performance**: A native C++ application with GPU acceleration (CUDA and TensorRT through ONNX Runtime) and multi-threaded flow execution.
- **Opinionated, production-ready building blocks**: Object tracking, zone logic, de-duplication, input validation, role-based access and error reporting come with every node, from our deployment experience.
- **A platform to build on, not a dead end**: Use it as a finished solution, or build your own applications and products on it with flows, dashboards, a Python node, plugins and an HTTP API.
- **End to end: data → model → action**: Reva and Nara are designed together. A model trained in Reva deploys to Nara with no extra configuration.
- **Scales from an edge device to a server**: The same flows run on a Raspberry Pi or NVIDIA Jetson, an industrial PC, or a GPU server, on Windows 11 and Ubuntu.
- **Easy to install and get started**: Standard installers, ready-made templates, quick starts and free courses. A first working flow takes minutes, not a project.
- **A lower, predictable cost**: No per-call cloud AI fees. You use your own compute, and capacity is licensed with simple slots.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why not just use an LLM or AI agent to build our own app?

A demo is not a system. An agent can write a camera app in an afternoon, but running it reliably every day needs stream handling, reconnection, multi-threading, GPU memory management, industrial protocols, access control, logging and maintenance. Nabrio has built and tested all of that. Generated code is also hard to verify: a Nara flow is visual, validated before it deploys, and readable by a domain expert. Agents are far more dependable assembling proven blocks, which is what Nara’s upcoming agent interface is for.

### Why not buy a pre-built app for this?

Pre-built apps solve one task in one way, while real sites need their own zones, rules, shifts, thresholds and outputs. The same Nara device that counts pallets can also check PPE, watch a danger zone and read a gauge, drive PLCs and robots, and use your own models from Reva. You can still start from built-in nodes, bundled models and templates.

### Is Nabrio a product or a platform?

Both. End users run ready solutions built from Nara’s built-in nodes, bundled models and templates, with no code. System integrators, solution builders, OEMs and in-house teams build their own applications and products on Nara and Reva.

### How is Nabrio different from n8n, Node-RED or Zapier?

n8n automates business software. Nara automates the physical world in real time: cameras, sensors, machines and robots, with 60+ AI model families running locally, native C++ performance for continuous video, and on-premise deployment. They work together: Nara handles the physical side, and n8n updates the business systems.
