[ 01 ]FAQ

The platform

What is Nabrio?

Nabrio is a no-code platform for physical AI: AI that senses the real world, decides and acts on it. Nara builds and runs AI vision and IoT applications, and Reva prepares data and trains custom models. Both run on your own hardware.

Is Nabrio a product or a platform?

Both. End users run ready solutions built from Nara’s built-in nodes, bundled models and templates. System integrators, solution builders, OEMs and in-house teams build their own applications and products on Nara and Reva.

Can we build and sell our own product on Nabrio?

Yes. Partners build their own solutions on Nara and Reva and deliver them to their customers, licensed through slots and supported through the partner program. Partner and OEM products can carry the “Powered by Nabrio” mark.

How is Nabrio different from n8n, Node-RED or Zapier?

n8n automates business software: moving data between SaaS apps and APIs. Nara automates the physical world in real time, with 60+ AI model families running locally and native C++ performance for continuous video. They work together over HTTP, webhooks and MQTT.

Data, privacy and deployment

Does our data leave the site?

No. Nara and Reva run on your hardware, and images, video and results stay there. Data is sent elsewhere only if you build a flow that sends it, for example an email alert or an MQTT message to your own broker. Nabrio’s cloud only handles accounts and licensing.

Do we need internet?

No. Systems run fully on the local network. Eligible tiers support offline operation with licences locked to the hardware.

What hardware do we need?

Start small on an edge device next to the camera, such as a Raspberry Pi for light, CPU-only tasks or an NVIDIA Jetson (Orin or Thor) for GPU-accelerated AI. Move up to an industrial PC or GPU server for many cameras and heavier models. Reva runs on a Windows 11 workstation, with an NVIDIA GPU for training.

Which cameras work with Nara?

IP cameras over RTSP, including multi-camera nodes, Basler industrial cameras over GigE or USB3, USB webcams, and video and image files.

Can Nara read Thai text?

Yes. Nara’s OCR models read printed Thai as well as English, and its licence plate OCR includes Thai characters.

Getting started and licensing

How hard is it to get started?

Not hard. Nara installs with a standard installer on Windows or a package on Ubuntu, Jetson and Raspberry Pi. Starter templates, quick-start guides and free courses on help.nabrio.com take a new user to a working camera flow and dashboard in minutes.

Do we need programmers or data scientists?

No. Flows, dashboards, labelling and training are all done visually. Teams with developers can extend Nara with Python scripts and plugins.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. The Free tier is for learning, testing and evaluation, with up to 4 hours of deployment and unlimited development time per day.

How is Nabrio licensed?

Capacity is licensed in slots: each running node or model uses a number of slots, and your plan sets how many you have. You use your own compute, so there are no per-call cloud AI fees. Talk to us for pricing.
