Camera-based fire and smoke detection

Conventional smoke detectors react late in large or open spaces. Nara watches your existing IP cameras for flames and smoke, sends an immediate alert with an image to the control room, Teams or Telegram, and can switch on a tower light or siren.

How it works

Nara runs its bundled fire and smoke model on your camera streams. When it sees flames or smoke, it sends an alert with the image to the control room, Microsoft Teams, Telegram or email, can switch a tower light or siren, and saves the event for later review.

Works with Nara’s built-in models. You set up the zones, rules and outputs.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does it replace our fire alarm system?

No. It adds camera-based early warning on top of your existing systems, which helps in large or open spaces where detectors react late.

Can we use the cameras we already have?

Usually, yes. Nara reads standard IP cameras over RTSP, as well as Basler industrial cameras, USB webcams and video files.
